The Art of Cyril Lomax

The Reverend Canon Cyril Lomax, Rector of Holy Trinity Washington (1899 to 1946), was a prolific landscape artist who exhibited at the Laing Art Gallery from 1930 to 1946. Quite often he would give couples he married a picture as a wedding present. Working with The History Society and The Friends of Washington Old Hall, Holy Trinity is planning to mark the 75ht anniversary of his death in 2022. All of these organisations are very interested in identifying any pictures  and other art of Cyril Lomax, still in private hands.
