The Art Of Cyril Lomax

The Reverend Canon Cyril Lomax, Rector of Holy Trinity Washington (1899 to 1946), was a prolific landscape artist who exhibited at the Laing Art Gallery from 1930 to 1946. Quite often he would give couples he married a picture as a wedding present. working with Friends of Washington Old Hall, the History Society is planning to celebrate his art in 2019, and are very interested in identifying any of pictures still in private hands.
