The opening of the RCA factory in 1970

The company marked the official opening of the factory on 7 May 1970 with an LP-sized booklet, showing it's construction and operation, which included a commerative LP of their classic and popular artists. It has an impressive reproduction of the arms of Washington Development Corporation. Flipbook (flipbookpdf.net) Though the plant got a boost after the death of Elvis Pressley in 1977 it closed in 1981 as demand for LPs declined.
